Since bursting onto the scene in 2002, Courage to Refuse has become one of the leading voices for peace, justice and change in Israel. In this brief time, Courage to Refuse has taken its cause to the Israeli Supreme Court, inspired members of Commando and Combat Pilot units to join their struggle and forced the issue of refusal and overall role of the military onto the mind of every Israeli.

Yet, despite these successes, the Occupation endures.
And with each passing day, the need for your support grows that much more acute.

With your help, Courage to Refuse will succeed in introducing its message to new sectors of the Israeli population via a variety of public ads and education efforts, developing tools to educate the public about the issues of Occupation and military refusal and supporting its members sentenced to prison for their moral stands.

How it works

The Refuser Solidarity Network, a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, created specifically to support the Refuser Movement in Israel and its efforts to end the Occupation, will be the immediate payee of funds received by Groundspring.org for Courage to Refuse. RSN will then remit funds, subject to its obligations vis-à-vis the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, to Courage to Refuse.

Donors not wishing to make tax-deductible donations on-line may also do so via check or money order, made payable to "The Refuser Solidarity Network" and identifying "Courage to Refuse" as the preferred RSN grantee. Funds received by RSN for Courage to Refuse remain subject to its obligations vis-à-vis the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Donors should send checks to the following address:
